2、Wardrobe storage

On the overall layout, only the master bedroom and a second bedroom are equipped with wardrobes. The second bedroom wardrobe configuration is relatively simple, a combination of stacking area and hanging area, hanging area for the upper and lower hanging, full use of the cabinet space and easy to take, but only suitable for short clothes and trousers hanging. The top area can be used for bedding, out-of-season clothing etc.

The wardrobe is fitted with doors that open with recessed long pulls, which are attractive and easy to open. The master bedroom wardrobe has an additional drawer module, suitable for stacking and for small items of clothing and accessories. The hanging rod on one side has been replaced with a drop-down rod, but the drop-down rod is generally suitable for higher hanging areas, making it easier to pick up clothes.

The pull-down rod is slightly redundant and the space in the hanging area is still only suitable for short and medium length clothes. The plan shows that the innermost door of the cabinet is blocked by the bedside table, so the door is cut out and the space inside is slightly inconvenient to use as storage for unused items such as luggage storage.

On the whole, the wardrobe is not well designed, with on-site woodworking, fixed height partitions and hanging rods, no room for adjustment and a lack of hanging areas for long clothes. The wardrobe has a basic storage function but the use of functional parts is not appropriate, resulting in a certain waste of resources.

Conclusion: The design of storage furniture needs to meet the requirements of both the generality of the people who use it and the refinement of the stored items; through the collation of commonly stored items, the product range is delineated by the dual boundaries of people and things, such as the range of product sizes, functional configurations and the layout of moving lines.
